The village has a swimming pool (8 X 14 mt),that has all comforts, and is available from 05/01 to 09/30. It is in a sunny position from which you can enjoy one of the most suggestive views on Casentino valley.

Moreover it gives its guests a playground for children (with swing, slide, recreational path, table and another plays) and some mountain bikes, by which we can go through the paths of Casentino ’s forests.

At your return, you can use the outside barbecues for good grills.

The "Pinot nero" (red wine) is, for its colour and smells, a gentle and tasteful wine but, at the same time, it is vigorous and intense. Except for rare circumstances, this wine isn’t suitable a very long ageing process, and it gives the best of its possibility after five-six years.

It has a light ruby-red colour. Its tastes are delicious, at the beginning they remember red fruit, as strawberries and cherries. Turning it on the glass this wine "opens" and pleasant aromatic notes, balsamic and spicy emerge, with smells of field grass.

It’s a very tasteful wine, with a not intrusive taste, where we can find all the sensations already discovered on the smells. It is very balance and its taste remains on the palate, it has an excellent persistence.

Our "Pinot nero" is the wine that we feel like suggesting to the lovers of tradition and to those that want discover the complexity of this tasteful and elegant wine. Passion, dedication, emotion, and tradition, are the words of origin that our farm practises on the production of our wine.

The production has been running on the lines of hight quality since 1930,when Vezzosi family intuited that on sunny hill of Poppiena it was able to find the right place, for grounds and microclimate, to cultivate grapevine according to enological and tuscan techniques.
